Terms of Service
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of United States 9-1-1 Services ("US911S," "we," "us," or "our") websites and related services. By accessing or using a US911S service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the applicable service.
About US911S
US911S is a MissionChief alliance that provides public website resources, staff application systems, Discord- and MissionChief-related services, administrative tools, communications, documents, and related organizational services.
Eligibility
Some US911S services are available only to authorized members, staff, applicants, leadership, or other users specifically granted access. Access to a service does not guarantee continued access.
Accounts and Access
Certain services require an account or other authenticated access. You are responsible for protecting your access credentials, providing accurate information where required, using your access appropriately, and notifying US911S if you believe your access has been compromised.
You may not use another person's account without authorization. US911S may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, policy, or administrative reasons.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use US911S services only for lawful, authorized, and legitimate purposes. You may not:
- Attempt unauthorized access or bypass security or access controls;
- Impersonate another person or misuse another person's account;
- Interfere with website or service operation;
- Intentionally submit malicious content;
- Abuse US911S systems;
- Misuse confidential or restricted information;
- Use US911S services for unlawful purposes;
- Intentionally manipulate or falsify organizational records; or
- Use access granted for one purpose to improperly access unrelated information.
Administrative and Staff Access
Some services are restricted to authorized staff and leadership. Authorized users must use their access only for legitimate US911S purposes and must not improperly access, disclose, modify, or misuse restricted information.
Applications and Submitted Information
Information submitted through applications, forms, or other US911S processes must be accurate and must not contain intentionally misleading or malicious information. US911S may review submissions and take appropriate administrative action. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
Documents and Communications
Users may submit documents, messages, or other content through US911S services. Submit only material you are authorized to provide. Do not intentionally submit unlawful, malicious, or unauthorized content. US911S may restrict, remove, archive, or otherwise manage submitted material when reasonably necessary for security, administration, or enforcement of these Terms.
Discord and MissionChief
Some US911S functionality depends on or interacts with third-party platforms such as Discord and MissionChief. Your use of those platforms is also subject to their applicable rules and terms. US911S does not control third-party service availability or policies.
US911S Content and Branding
Unless otherwise stated, the US911S name, branding, logos, website content, graphics, official documents, and other original materials created by or for US911S are owned by or licensed to US911S. You may not improperly copy, modify, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit those materials, or use them in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, employment, leadership status, or affiliation with US911S, without authorization.
Third-Party Services
Third-party services may be integrated into or linked from US911S services. US911S is not responsible for the independent operation, content, policies, security, or availability of those third-party services.
Service Availability
US911S works to keep services reliable but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Services may be affected by maintenance, outages, technical problems, third-party interruptions, or other circumstances. US911S may modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of a service when reasonably necessary.
Suspension and Termination
US911S may suspend or terminate access for reasons including violations of these Terms, unauthorized access, misuse, security concerns, operational needs, or other legitimate administrative reasons. Suspension or termination of access does not necessarily require deletion of historical records.
Privacy
Your use of US911S services is also subject to the US911S Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information.
Disclaimers
US911S services are provided as reasonably available for alliance and administrative purposes. To the extent permitted by applicable law, US911S disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these Terms and is not liable for losses arising from third-party platforms, service interruptions, or unauthorized misuse of accounts beyond US911S's reasonable control.
Changes to These Terms
US911S may update these Terms as services and policies change. Updated Terms will be posted on this website with a revised effective or last-updated date. Continued use of applicable services after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
